Recreational 4WD Course
Recreational 4WD Course (Personal Development)
Our Recreational 4WD Course is ideal for people who are after a quick course to learn the essentials of how to drive a 4WD. You will learn about the features of your 4WD, such as high and low range gears and when to use them. You will also learn the limitations of your vehicle: what it can and can’t do. You will learn to identify hazards and how to minimise risks to the safety of your passengers and your 4WD, as well as how to minimise damage to the environment. You will learn the appropriate driving techniques to use in different types of terrain.
While not a focus, the Recreational 4WD Course will briefly cover recovery techniques.
Trainings are delivered in your 4WD vehicle with the instructor sitting in your car. There can be up to 3 students in the car – there is a fixed price per vehicle.
If you organise for 3 vehicles to take the course as a group, with one instructor, then each vehicle will pay a discounted price.
