4WD Driver Training & Defensive Driving (On and Off-road)

In this training cluster of courses, drivers will gain the knowledge and skills needed to prepare and operate vehicles and related equipment to drive across various terrains, including on-road and off-road conditions. This course applies to drivers who are required to perform daily checks of their vehicle for damage, ensure that fuels and lubricant levels are maintained, effect minor repairs, prepare and maintain field equipment, and communicate with their base station. This cluster also includes vehicle recovery in the field.

This driving training course is delivered over one 8-hour day (depending on ability and experience).

  Our driver training instructors are able to travel anywhere in Australia, to your location, to teach this course. There may be a charge for travel when time spent travelling both to and from the training location is more than 1 hour in total, and where there are mobilisation and demobilisation costs.

Drivers must have the appropriate class of driver’s licence. No other licensing, regulatory, certification and legislative requirements apply to this course.
