4WD Recreation Course Details

The Driven Training 4WD course is designed to deliver the essential skills of four wheel driving for every type of off-road terrain. If you plan to go off road, then our 4WD course is essential as participants will be engaged in tuition explaining why the vehicles are built like that, how to correctly use the 4WD systems, avoid costly mechanical breakages due to ignorance, understand their limitations, and how to recover vehicles safely.

Off Road Driver Training

  • Identify and implement equipment and techniques to negotiate obstacles
  • Basic and advanced recovery techniques
  • Vehicle placement in rough terrain

Fitness and Experience

  • All training sessions are designed for people of all ages
  • Participants must be 18 years or above and must have P-plate Licence or above
  • Fitness level is not important and experience is not required

Participant to Bring/Wear

  • BYO 4WD, fully fuelled and in roadworthy condition.
  • Solid enclosed footwear at all times
  • Any recovery gear you may have
  • BYO food and drink (No BBQ’s allowed)
  • BYO plenty of water
  • One passenger is welcome to attend in the vehicle at no extra cost
